RCIA: Today (Sunday) at 10.30am Mass we welcome four members to the “Rite of Entry”.  This is the first major step on the way to receiving the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.

FINANCE GROUP:  This group exists to help co-ordinate financial matters and to advise the priest.  It will meet today (Sunday) in the Committee Room after Mass.

Mens’ Group: The next Gathering will take place TODAY Sunday, 10th January at 7pm.

JUSTICE & PEACE: The group which discusses these matters will meet this Monday, 11th January at 7pm in the Committee Room.

ROSARY GROUP:  This group will re-start this Tuesday, 12th January at 7pm in the Cry Chapel.

HOMELESS LUNCH: the next lunch will take place NEXT Sunday, 17th January.  Please make a date in your diary, come along to lend a hand at this Parish event.

PARENTS’ MEETING: Those parents whose children will receive the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Communion are called to a meeting with Fr. Martin on Thursday, 21st January at 7pm in the Church.

YOUTH HUB MEETING:  The next meeting to take this very important Parish youth project will take place in the Committee Room on Sunday, 24th January after morning Mass.

UNITY SERVICE: To celebrate the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, there will a United worship for all Kilmarnock Churches on Sunday, 24th January at 2.30pm in St. Andrew’s & St. Marnock’s Church.

PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL: The next meeting will take place in the Committee Room on Sunday, 31st January at 12 Noon.

ST. ANDREW’S PRIMARY: Parents of children due to commence attendance at school in August 2010 should enrol their child from Monday, 18th January to Friday, 22nd January between 1.15-2.30pm.  Please bring the child’s birth certificate and Baptismal certificate if appropriate when enrolling.

YEAR OF PRIESTS: In this special year for priests, we pray for God’s blessing on the priests of our own Diocese.  Today we pray for Canon Patrick Keegans, Administrator of St. Margaret’s Cathedral, Ayr.
